Who handles your data
The data controller is María Pía Peña Foissac, who runs this site under the name tuaccesible. For anything to do with your data, email contacto@tuaccesible.com.
tuaccesible works from Argentina, which is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision. In practice, that means a client in the European Union can send us personal data without signing standard contractual clauses or putting any other transfer mechanism in place.
What we collect and what for
Only what you type in yourself. This site has no user accounts, no shopping cart, no members-only area, and no forms beyond the two below.
Contact form
We collect your name, your email, the service you're interested in and your message. We use them to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to prepare your quote.
Review form
We collect the name or initials you want published, the service you hired, two ratings, an optional comment and your explicit permission. We use them to publish the review, always after checking it: nothing goes live automatically.
Why we're allowed to
When you ask for a quote, our lawful basis is that we're taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. If your message doesn't lead to any work, we rely on our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us.
Reviews are handled on the basis of your consent, which you give explicitly in the form and can withdraw at any time, without giving a reason.
Who else sees it
Both forms are processed by Web3Forms, a provider acting as our data processor, whose servers are in the United States. That means an international transfer of data outside the European Economic Area. Web3Forms delivers the message to our inbox; it doesn't post it on a public dashboard.
The inbox where we receive messages is hosted by Arsys (Arsys Internet S.L.U., Spain), which also acts as a processor.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs the IP address of anyone visiting any site hosted there, for security reasons. That log belongs to GitHub, not to us: we can't see it and we never use it.
Beyond those three, nobody. There is no advertising, no embedded social media, and no other third-party piece loading on these pages.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept for as long as the conversation lasts and up to twelve months afterwards, in case you pick the thread back up. Published reviews are kept for as long as they stay published; if you withdraw your permission, they come down.
How we count visits
We use GoatCounter, a cookieless analytics tool. It stores no IP address, no full browser identifier and no tracking id: what it keeps are daily aggregate figures, such as how many visits each page had, which country they came from and which site brought them. To avoid counting you twice on the same day it holds a temporary fingerprint in memory for at most eight hours, and never writes it to disk.
The file that does the counting is served from this domain, not from anyone else's server. The only thing that leaves is the visit notification, which reaches GoatCounter's servers in Finland and Germany, inside the European Union: there is no international transfer.
What we don't do
We use no Google Analytics and no tool that builds advertising profiles. We use no cookies, first-party or third-party. We don't sell or pass on your data for advertising. We don't profile anyone or make automated decisions about anyone.
The one thing stored in your browser
If you pick a language, the site saves that preference in your own browser local storage, under the key tuaccesible-lang-choice. It is not a cookie, it never travels to any server, it identifies nobody, and its only effect is that we will not suggest a language change you already turned down. You can clear it from your browser settings and the site carries on working the same.
Your rights
You can exercise any of these at any time:
- See what we hold about you (access).
- Have it corrected (rectification).
- Have it deleted (erasure).
- Have us pause what we're doing with it (restriction of processing).
- Object to us handling it at all (objection).
- Get a copy in a format you can take elsewhere (data portability).
- Withdraw any consent you've given, without giving a reason.
Email contacto@tuaccesible.com and we'll answer within one month at the latest.
If you think we're mishandling your data, you can lodge a complaint with your country's data protection authority. In Spain that's the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos; elsewhere in the EU, your national supervisory authority.
Changes to this policy
If anything changes, the date above changes too. If the change affects what we do with your data rather than just the wording, we say so on this page.
