About tuaccesible
María Pía Peña Foissac
I've used NVDA as my screen reader for more than 13 years — it's my primary way of accessing digital content, both in daily life and at work. Since 2021 I've been doing manual, non-simulated accessibility audits of websites and mobile apps, evaluating the real barriers someone navigating with assistive technology runs into, not just what an automated tool flags. Beyond checking conformance, I look at whether an interface is genuinely usable for someone navigating that way.
I also teach digital accessibility — at the DALAT Foundation and at XAcademy — which has sharpened how clearly I can explain technical barriers, to both technical and non-technical audiences.

We work as a team
We're a team of accessibility professionals — every audit and every workshop is thought through and reviewed by more than one person, not in isolation.
